Neurodiversity

The human population is diverse. Recognising potential within society and ensuring a neuroinclusive workspace where staff feel valued and empowered and where individuals thrive is paramount to the ethically responsible employer.

It is estimated that 15% of any workforce will be neurodivergent and over half will have been absent from work in the past 12 months due to the impact of the condition.

Neurodivergence is a term that relates to a number of conditions including but not limited to Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, Tourette’s syndrome and mental health conditions. Neurodiverse people process information and can behave differently from Neurotypical people and this uniqueness can bring a host of benefits within the work community through best practice and understanding.

Commitment to diversity and equality in an environment that embraces Neurodiversity is key to ensuring colleagues feel valued and succeed within a fully inclusive workspace. Embracing the benefits of all colleagues rather than focussing on the challenges improves understanding and staff welfare along with business productivity.

Identifying and supporting colleagues does not need to be complicated or expensive. Whether a minor adjustment to day to day working practices or access to assistive technology is required our highly qualified team of specialist practitioners will provide an over-view of support requirements and make recommendations specific to individual needs.

Assessments are straightforward taking less than an hour. Depending on preference this can be face to face or via a video call. The meeting format is informal and intended to be stress free. There are no tests.  After the consultation a short confidential report is produced outlining recommendations.

With over 25 years of experience our team of professionals come with a wealth of knowledge and expertise and are committed to providing the highest standard of service.
